Who am I?

Betsy at Cabo da Roca

I’m Betsy Hedberg, and I’m interested in pretty much everything about the world and its inhabitants. I love the big-picture vistas (like here at Cabo da Roca in Portugal) and the small-scale details (watching leafcutter ants, a beetle on my balcony, or my cat lapping up his water).

I’ve lived in a few countries and love to travel and explore…but I also try to appreciate what’s right around me.

I’m dedicating a part of my life to spreading the word about how truly interesting and beautiful so much of this world is, while acknowledging and trying to change the less wonderful parts. I hope my audience can be inspired to remember what’s worth cultivating and protecting and why a “childlike” sense of wonder is so healthy and vital for all of us adults.
